why is hair and hairline literally everything for women?

My dad started balding at 40/50 for some reason while the rest of my family, even grandparents had perfect hairlines. I dont know why he ended up this way and kinda scared it will happen to me.

Im doing it for acne mostly, i live in the uk i try to get sun by sungazing during the sunset but its mostly cope, there is litterally no sun in this country. I am taking like 5-15k ius per day but i feel like i can take more easily. Why do they take 50k iu once every 2 weeks and not daily?
