Why is hair so important? Doesn't make sense.

A disproportionately high amount of baldcels (androgen-caused, at least) have masculine facial structures too. It's usually indicative of high androgen concentrations in general. Lacking the genes to preserve something so useless (in a usage context) shouldn't be such a death sentence for SMV, but it is.

Even a seemingly more important health/youthfulness indicator like skin can be somewhat compensated for by other things, but only a few hypermasc dudes can escape the Norwood Reaper

I think people here overestimate how far dimorphic looks will take you. We are the least dimorphic primates. And despite being sexually dimorphic we are content with LTRs and monogamy.
