U need above average iq and it's a massive advantage probably more than anything else. But more than that is a curse

For it to be useful it has to be very high. Things like looks are useful in every amount. IQ only has downsides until you are genius level and can solve problems that no one else can.

Everyone here is a midwit at best (around 90iq on average judging by the posts I see). Smart enough to hate how the world works but too dumb to have any remarkable problem solving ability.

True genius becomes known very quick and you will become successful from it one way or another.

Most typically do, IQ is largely genetic, so that's to be expected

That being said, a low IQ person born to middle class is less likely to end up successful than a poor person with a high IQ. That's how strong a predictor IQ is. Stronger than any other factor we can measure
