I think the only way to "counter" this is by pursuing new life experiences/stimuli . this is why for older people time goes by faster bc their daily routine is just the same over and over again. but for someone whos younger theyre graduating schools, moving to different areas, meeting new people, trying out different part time jobs or what not, etc etc
