change your name to abdul problem solved

I can't speak for other countries but in many parts of the U.S especially like California, Texas, Wisconsin and Florida you'll see undocumented immigrants from Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador working minimum wage jobs in agriculture, construction and food.

Many employers exploit their illegal refugee status paying cash under the table or forcing overtime without compensation. When I came back to India and was visiting Kolkata I noticed a similar dynamic with Rohingya Muslims and other refugee groups taking up all the low tier jobs and the local workers protesting about them getting replaced by these people who are ready to work for scraps

Not in my case. I see students my age working all the time and all my peers found part time jobs with ease years ago.

I’m just kinda retarded :feelsrope: Struggle with basic tasks type shit

Im not from Kolkata either. I am from Kerala. Was just visiting had some work there. Kerala doesn't have refugee problem. We are the ones who go to other states and countries and work jobs.

Learn coding and math and start doing freelance work

So basically every job I applied online I didn’t get a call back for shit even if I larped experience on the attached resume

This all changed when I went in person, during slow non busy hours , talked to the manager myself, and handed my resume to them myself

Even in the corporate world. For those high paying jobs also this is how it works
Hiring managers get flooded with resumes and most get filtered out by ATS before a human even sees them. When you show up in person or network directly through events, LinkedIn, or referrals you cut through that noise and become a real face instead of just another name on a PDF. It's old school, but works
