Why is it so easy for us guys to develop feelings for someone

It doesn’t make sense, there have been many times where initially I didn’t find a girl attractive but then they start showing some interest and I spend more time with them and it changes. However for girls it seems there’s no personality for your face. Why is that? Why is it that guys can develop attraction over time while for girls they supposedly decide of a guy is attractive or not from the first impression of their physical appearance?
