You go to a mission someone tells you to go n kill someone and boom you get a thousand dollars in 15 minutes while IRL its way harder and time consuming...

Because in videogames, wealth is distributed based on the work you do.

IRL, most wealth is distributed based on how much wealth you already have. Also known as capitalism.

It is extremely easy to make money IRL when you are (born) wealthy.

Because in video games you are a superhuman monster hunter with godlike reflexes & 10% BF

In real life you're a sub 8 male posting on an incel forum (with the occasional narcy Chad)

Guys think dating apps are depressing, just wait until you’re still working weekends at some corporate job you’ve been slaving away at for years, and still earn less PA than a guy with enormous inherited wealth stuck in high interest savings or index funds. Even worse when you realise his gains are taxed less than yours are

Yeah In gta some random mofo you never met calls you and tells you to kill some mofo you don’t even know and then you go and blast that nigga to death and randomly get deposited 20k in your bank but irl you gotta flip burgers 40 hours a week for $200 🥴🥴🥴

An unemployed guy with 3 million invested in an index fund, literally 0 effort, 0 work, little risk, will out-earn an experienced, trained engineer working 40 hours/week at a respectable firm.

It's a clown-world out there.

In video games your wealth is based on how much effort you put in (like for example in minecraft you’ll have as many wood as you cut down)

In real life it’s the opposite, work input doesn’t matter, it’s all about what society values your work. It doesn’t matter how much effort you put into it, all it matters is the end results. That’s why for example janitors do much harder manual work than ceos, yet the managers get 300x more their pay. It’s not like they put in 300x of the effort of the janitor, rather they are on the top of the extractive pyramid scheme

Income differences are normal.

Even in videogames, you have the 'elite' people that know the best moneymaking methods. For example: They kill the right monsters, with better gear, in better spots, than the average player. Making far more money. Of course those people should be earning far more.

IRL though, like you say, the differences are far more extreme. And worst of all, a lot of those jobs that pay a lot of money, are not gained through knowledge, skill, experience, hard-work.
No, they are distributed through nepotism. Which is just another form of (born into) wealth, the connections you have, your family, the 'class' you were born into.
Like a guy inheriting his father's company and becoming the new CEO. Nepotism.

And it's not even that relevant IRL. Most money is NOT earned through income. It's earned through investments, being wealthy. Those are the actual 'rich' people in life.

When people think of rich people, they shouldn't think of the doctor making 120k/year, working 40 hours/week. 'Wow he has a porsche and a nice house, and can afford to go to restaurants every week. What a rich guy!'. No lmao, that's nothing.
They should think of the millionaire, making the same or more money, doing literally nothing.

And then we haven't gotten into the multi-millionaire territory yet. People who make multitudes of the money the doctor makes, again by doing and contributing absolutely NOTHING.

You also don't risk your life on video games. You can save, reload, respawn. On top of everything else said here.
