Why is it so hard to likeable but so easy to be unlikeable?

This shit baffles me and I'll never understand why this is the way it is, imo i look good enough to get treated with respect by most people if I act normal and say the right things (which I try to do) but still am outcasted everywhere I go.

God forbid I say something slightly controversial, everyone in my vicinity instantly hates me and I'm shunned forever

I noticed its harder to look friendly and approachable the more masculine you look

I don't even try to be social and I keep to myself most of the time but everyone I know describes my as friendly and nice because of how I look
