Why is it that only whites and hispanics become colonizers?

The only countries that participated in the scramble for africa were hispanic and white countries. In Antarctica, the UK, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, France, Argentina, and Chile are the only countries with territorial claims. In Africa, the only countries that had colonies were Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Italy, Germany, France, and the UK. I almost never see asian countries colonize. Why is this? Are ricecels too high inhib?

Coz they had better Boats and also better guns earlier than everyone else.

If you played even just Total War: Medieval 2, you would know what im talking about.

At a certain point in the game, you suddenly can develop boats that move across the Atlantic so you're no longer restricted to the European continent.

Another thing to also consider is location.

Depending on your view, East Europeans are also "white" but they never colonized anyone. Or at least not to the degree as west europe.

After all its kinda hard to be invested in developing boats when you're not near the shorelines of big oceans.

Also if you're unfortunate enough, you have to deal with Ottomans like those guys in the Balkans. How can you have time to go overseas when the Sultan is fucking you in the ass everyday? And later on you have the Russians eyeing you.
