Why is it that some people look good despite looking recessed on the side ?

Like how? His chin looks insane on the front, but if you only saw the side you'd assume he was a weak lower third

Ik what you mean, but it still kinda feels weird when you think about it, ik that side profile doesn't matter and that even if you have a really bad side it won't change anything if you have a good front

But it still does have an effect on the front
