Why is laura bate's book "men who hate women" heavily promoted among feminist spheres as an accurate representation of the manosphere?

Have seen her book heavily promoted by a lot of feminists online as being objective truth, but if you actually go and read the book it contains a lot of hearsay and misinformation. For example in the first chapter on incels, she makes a claim that incels were going out and abusing women in real life since she had received reports from women who went to her after being abused and that she found the stories of the women similar to posts that incels were making on forums. But other than this she provides literally provides no objective proof of a real world connection between forum posts and abuse and just relies on her assumption, not to mention that statistically its quite unlikely that there actually is a causal link. Also she appears quite biased and prejudiced against people from manosphere and related groups rather than being a neutral observer by just focusing on the fringe minority of people who post the worst types of stuff and are probably just mentally ill, and uses it to represent the groups as a whole. I find her book quite concerning since its apparently being used to influence public opinion despite most readers not being able to understand the errors and misinformation that the book contains, especially since she presents her book as academia and just wanted to share my thoughts on this

little grey is reading books
mainly just read it out of curiosity after seeing it being promoted on reddit and youtube as well as being featured on an incel documentary. Don't know why its being heavily promoted despite the quite obvious agenda
