1. They haven't assimilated as well as the blacks, jews and latinos. Hence they will always be seen as outsiders until they do.

2. There is a country all the way across the globe with over a billion of them vying for economic power.

3. On average they have a weaker command of the English language than other ethnics. That really works against them.
