Maths however is complete abstraction in it's simplest form,
it does not serve much purpose to one who follows his natural instincts.
For example one could see a lot of mammoths in one place and say "Woah a lot of mammoths" instead of counting them(since no need for confirmation)

More people contributing to mathematics means the base abstraction is going to get a lot more voodoo abstraction added upon it.
The core axioms are still comprehensible and relevant but yet the complexity greatly increases also.
