Why is my father always wanting me to do this?

He always wants me to practice piano. He always says he wants me to do it because It'll "help" me in the future.

He also says people will be impressed that I play it but I doubt anyone will care, maybe just a few compliments. What a joke. I don't even know how to play with 2 hands.

Does he expect me to become a grandmaster pianist or something?
