Why is my Jawline weak from the side?

My jawline is strong from my 3/thirds angle, and from the from, but directly from the side it is weaker

Like, I have bone, but it seems to be covered by hypertrophied muscle or thicker skin

Often times it looks very much like this picture of opry

But in certain lighting/angles it looks strong such as here

yes, I actually just fixed that, my molars wouldn't touch due to invisalign

they're not supposed to while you're at rest and it tends to make your jaw look recessed.

Oh they don't when I'm at rest. They literally wouldn't touch even when I tried lol, only my front teeth would
