Why is my upper maxilla good and forward but my premaxilla area is recessed? This cuz of tooth extractions?

A recessed premaxilla with a forward upper maxilla is usually caused by tooth extractions or orthodontic retraction that pulled the front teeth back, flattening the area under the nose. It can also result from underdeveloped nasal or midface support during growth in puberty
