Nationalism is retarded because nationalities themselves exist so that you feel a duty to an abstract country (homeland which does not even exist), and go to die in a war absolutely free of charge. Because until the 19th century, wars ended when the king ran out of money, but now you can fight endlessly as long as degenerate patriots exist.

because people who call themselves that only do it because they want to feel proud of something they didn't even do themselves.

just because they constantly talk about what their country did in the past somehow makes them feel superior.
