agencies prefer strikingness/low averageness, but most people don’t have high enough pillars to look good so they look like shit
on the other hand actors are legit just picked to look like either what they’re based on (the artist likely had a preference for good looking people, most do) or they literally just pick a good looking dude who can act and fits the name
