Hello
Hello guys i don’t want to bother but may i ask why is this
“Disgusting. Keep it up” isn’t that a contradiction by itself? Like why would you even tell me don’t ever get up like jeremy meeks
Also “your content is pretty trash” ??
I thought this forum was based off of respect.
Sometimes I genuinely wonder why people on le forum can be so unpleasant. I visit the site expecting discussions, advice, or honest feedback, but instead I often find an environment filled with unnecessary hostility. It feels like many users forget that behind every profile, every picture, and every post there is a real person with real feelings, insecurities, and struggles.
What makes it especially sad is how normalized cruelty seems to be. Instead of offering constructive criticism, some people appear more interested in finding flaws and exaggerating them. A person can ask a simple question about their appearance and receive responses that are not only harsh but deliberately humiliating. Rather than helping someone improve, these comments often seem designed to tear them down and make them feel worse about themselves.
I find it difficult to understand the motivation behind this behavior. Most people who seek feedback about their looks are already vulnerable. They are often dealing with self-doubt, comparing themselves to others, and searching for reassurance or guidance. When they choose to share photos or ask for opinions, they are putting themselves in a position where they can easily be hurt. Seeing that vulnerability met with mockery instead of empathy is genuinely disappointing.
Another thing that bothers me is the constant negativity that seems to spread throughout many discussions. Once a few people start being rude, others often join in, creating an atmosphere where insults become more common than meaningful conversation. It becomes less about helping people and more about competing to deliver the most brutal comment. The result is a culture where kindness is rare and cynicism is rewarded.
What is even more frustrating is that many of the judgments are presented as objective truth. People make sweeping statements about someone’s value, attractiveness, or future based on a few photographs, as if they possess absolute certainty. Human beings are far more complex than that. A person’s worth cannot be reduced to a rating, a facial feature, or a list of perceived flaws. Yet in some corners of the site, that reduction seems to happen constantly.
The atmosphere can become emotionally exhausting. After reading enough hostile comments, it starts to feel as though genuine encouragement barely exists. Instead of inspiring people to become more confident or healthier, the environment often reinforces insecurity and self-criticism. It creates a cycle where people who already feel bad about themselves are given even more reasons to doubt their own value.
The saddest part is that it does not have to be this way. Honest feedback and kindness are not mutually exclusive. People can tell the truth without being cruel. They can point out areas for improvement without attacking someone’s dignity. They can disagree without humiliating others. Unfortunately, many users seem to choose harshness over compassion, and that choice shapes the entire atmosphere of the community.
In the end, what disappoints me most is not the criticism itself, but the lack of basic human empathy. Everyone has insecurities. Everyone has weaknesses. Everyone knows what it feels like to be judged. Because of that, I would expect people to treat each other with a little more understanding. Instead, too often I see people acting as though another person’s feelings are irrelevant. It leaves me wondering why being kind seems so difficult for some people, and why making others feel bad has become such a common form of entertainment.
