Why is pedophilia not okay, then?

Pedophilia itself is a mental disorder characterized by a persistent sexual attraction to prepubescent children. Having this disorder doesn’t automatically mean that someone will commit a crime, but sexual acts with a child are unacceptable because a child cannot give fully informed consent to a sexual relationship with an adult. But let’s divide them into two groups: pedophiles who act on it and go after children, and those who do everything they can to control themselves. I’d honestly kill the first group, but I feel sorry for the second group because imagine being unable to do anything about it, unable to tell anyone, and just being hated by everyone. That said, pedophiles in general shouldn’t be justified. What do you think about this?

this is a really sensitive topic and people aren't going to give well thought responses to this, as they are going to just automatically call you ridiciliou for sympathizing with some of them. I absolutely despise pedophilia, but you do have a point. You can't really choose to be a pedophile in most cases, and usually it stems from childhood trauma or just a nuerodevelopmental condition. Of course I wouldn't want any pedophiles to live amongst us, but the ones that don't act on them do live quite the terrible life. The ones that act on it are absolutely evil no doubt, they should be held in the same regard as rapists as people have complete control over their actions, but as for the ones that don't act on it, they just happend to not have control over the way their brain developed

ngl some of the 14-18 year old look good and mature, and in nature if you get your period you are old enough to breed.

Not saying its fine for a old guy to want a 15 year old thats weird

tbh you can see that in the ped catcher videos, 90% of them are nd or have been raped or saed as kids themselves
