An effect that the majority of Africa had due to the mass of Africa itself as well as how far it is from Eurasia few outsiders pre Victorian era would be capable of migrating there due to the harsh living conditions, climate and diseases that held up large scale colonization of Africa until the Victorian era.

Now of course you had migrations of African tribes like with the Ethiopians native culture/ethnic groups who were displaced as the majority population by the oromo tribe or the Bantu tribes moving into South Africa but for the south Sudanese this was not the case imagine Britain inbreeding but the effects were good by aesthetic standards.
