Why is status so important for SMV?

This forum is starting to realize that status is maybe the most important thing for SMV. There has been many threads on this topic lately.

But why is status even important? We all know why Looks and Money matter.

Looks = Genetics. Good for healthy offspring.
Money = Resources. Good for a comfortable lifestyle.

What does status provide that creates a high SMV?

And the thing is, Money can raise your SMV, but it's not about sexual attraction, it's about getting resources from the man. Status on the other hand does create real sexual attraction. You can have a high SMV if you have high social status, even if you're not good-looking or rich.

A guy looking good like this. He imo can't drop below a certain status level even with certain low status traits.
Let's say status can go from 1-10. Below man, can imo (as long not hobo) never drop below 5/10 in status. Even when he will be NEET. Like his status starts at 5/10

* Whereas below looking man in the blue shorts/pants. His status starts at like -2 or something. This man will have to have plenty good/great satus traits to bring his status up to 5/10. Due to height, looks. To be really high status for these men, they need to be like top 0.0001% percenatile in something that matters

It seems like it's about the validation of having snagged a popular guy. But that would mean that status for SMV is not explained through evolution, like Looks-based attraction. It is explained through modern social dynamics.

Theres no status for your face and height. Barely any woman cares for her own status boost from smashing some average/below average status maxxed dude.

Besides that, no status can make a woman wet, like a good looking face and body + good height. Being status maxxed is same as slaying escorts, just a bit cheaper probably in terms of the ammount of fun while slaying.

Physical attraction cant be compensated by anything else and without that theres just low effort from foids when smashing.

Sure when women have physical attraction to a man, they also want to take advantage of something that he has going for him (his genes), but physical attraction is the only form of legit attraction, because it comes closes to foids miring you as an individual and not leeching off your big fanbase / your fame, which is something artificial.
