Why is the ps5 slim so loud?

I sold my ps5 that i bought from some scalper for 1000$

I had it for years no fan problems but this new slim i got is fucking overheating in the main menu and the fan is a little loud...

BTW i did not buy this as used off marketplace/refurbished/open box

Whats the issue? Can i return this scam ass shit they gave me
