Why is the rest of my face well developed except from my upper maxilla??

I do think it is from my extractions + braces but the lower part of my maxilla is alright but the middle and upper part is really bad which gives me really bad under eye support. Why is this and will a palate expander fix this??

a palate expander does not increase sagittal growth in the maxilla a lot, you will see a slight increase though, but it will mainly move it forwards. your best bet is getting a reverse pull headgear if you have braces, which will pull your maxilla forwards because from your description you mentioned that the upper is bad but the lower is good, meaning you may have poor ccw
