because every time there's a shortage of workers we import third worlders, who then adopt the same birth rates as the natives, and then the same thing happens again once these people retire, we've been doing this for a solid few decades now which means there's a huge demographic of elderly and not a whole lot of children, if we weren't importing people the population would've started crashing ages ago already.
