Why is there no functioning back button to exit threads and go back to the PREVIOUS page?

Whenever I click into a thread, if I want to leave that thread I have to exit back to the looksmax homepage. Because clicking the back button does nothing.

It is extremely annoying because I can't keep looking at he topic I was on without having to re type it into the search bar every time I exit a thread.

Where is the back button on this forum to go back to the previous point you were at, not the menu page?!?!?
