Dog used to be wolf, you know that right?
think about why there are many different species of dogs but there isn't much different species of giraffes, elephants, mouse, etc
because Dogs (former wolves) got out of the natural selection loop, they were breeding unnatural by humans. weak dogs who woudn't normally survive in nature managed to survive and breed because humans fed them.
