I havent worked out in 2023 ever because I fell for the sv3rige ''working out is bad for you meme'' but I just went and did a real gym workout today and I feel really good

I could still bench 225 for reps at 140 pound boydweight im made for this

never said you have to go to the gym. realistically even with prime diet our ancestors wouldve mogged in a lot of ways because of non sedentary lifestyle, so to compensate for our sedentary lifestyle we must work out

How many reps? I'm so weak. lmfao. Maybe its because 38 and I didn't start lifting until last year. I'm 5'6" (167cm) 149.2 lbs (67.7kg).
Last Thursday I benched 120 lbs for 6 reps each the first two sets then 8 reps on the last set. I didn't want to risk more.
Yesterday (Upper A) I benched 105 lbs for 8 reps each the first two sets then 12 reps on the last set (I had more in the tank. I just decided to stop at 12).
On Thursday (Upper B) I'm going to attempt 125 lbs for 3x5+.
Btw I have chest DOMS from benching yesterday bro. I'm weak. lmfao.
Strength level says that I'm stronger than 30% of male lifters my weight and age. So I'm still a Novice. Despite having benched consistently for a year. I benched 60 lbs for reps when I first started and failed 70 lbs relatively quickly.

I mostly work with free weights, cables and machines. But I do some calisthenics work. I have pull-ups and side planks on Monday (Upper A), chin-ups and push-ups on Thursday (Upper B) and inverted row on Friday (Lower B).

I have cable crunches on Thursday (Upper B). I'm thinking about subbing that out for a bodyweight rectus abdominis exercise (decline sit-ups are too easy for me). Because I hear that weighted rectus abdominis and oblique exercises can increase your waist size and make your abs appear blocky.

If gymmaxxing isn't going to ascend me as a 5'6" manlet then I'm screwed then. Gymmaxxing is my only hope to ascend. I'm not a virgin. I get laid. But not consistently. I can go months and months without getting laid off the dating apps.

I have extremely skinny legs and a pretty large upper body due to skipping leg day people could guess im 160-170lbs, I lifted intensively from 2015 to 2020 took a bunch of growth hormones and did a few cycles got to 200lbs bw and a 345lbs 1rm I've always been really good at the flat bench

havent really worked out seriously since the pandemic trying to get back into it it made me really happy at the time before getting blackpilled

I disagree weights are far more dangerous. Hundreds have died under the bar can’t think of one who died doing calisthenics. Weights are more effective for hypertrophy but weightlifters are shit at body weight exercises like pull-ups. Typically they’re too heavy
