People misunderstand Yujiro Hanma’s “sexuality.” It’s not really about attraction.

Yujiro is written as a character who only cares about power and dominance. Everything he does goes through that lens, including sex.

That’s why in the manga he rapes women and even a man. It’s not framed as him being straight, gay, or bi. It’s basically just another way for him to assert dominance. To Yujiro, people aren’t partners or love interests, they’re just beings below him.

So trying to label his sexuality misses the point. For Yujiro, sex is just another expression of power, the same way fighting is.
