Uncontrollable mental flip flopping. It's ok to look at everything the complete opposite of the way you're used to from time to time, just to gain insight. But when you can't control the way you feel about everything and it changes frequently then you've got a less normal healthy perception in general.

I don't understand how people can't just choose the way they're going to feel about something. There's so many ways to look at a situation without conflicting with reality. Mental luxury.

Yeah, that's life. I can't tell you how many times I've stopped enjoying what something I used to and had to do something else. I'm sure feeling unable to get off the smack had a lot to do with it. Like I said though I could just turn that off when it came time to stop. Feeling addicted.
