I have a theory that longer hair is biologicaly more attractive since it's a sign of youth and health. Being able to grow the hair long means ur healthy, young and nourished. And if someone says "ohh what about those men with really long hair that it makes them look like a girl?" It only looks unattractive when it's long enough to decrease the sexual dimorphism or it looks so unhygienic that it shows lack of care.
Key factors for growth include adequate nutrition (iron, protein, zinc, vitamins), hormonal regulation, and a healthy scalp.
Also, when you see lions in movies, commercials, etc. why does it usually use the male lions that has long hairs? Why does male lions with long hair usually looks better than female lions with less hair? Even the emoji for lions uses the male lion
. Maintaining long hair often reflects good nutrition and care. While long, thick hair can suggest a healthy body, it can also be a sign of good health. But, thinning hair can indicate underlying conditions like thyroid issues, regardless of length. Thinning hair and baldness is also obviously a sign of aging. Long hair also covers the bad features of your face and distract the attention away from those features to the hair, it can also manipulate the shape of the head.
