Is because they do not have the privilege to act any other way. Men are valued purely for their status and accomplishments. A man who does not have these things is seen as subhuman. This is why men are more narcissistic. They have a very strong incentive to be.

Men are quite literally slaves to women by and large. They've manipulated us into spending all our money on them directly, or indirectly in an attempt to try to impress them. They don't feel anything as deeply as men do, it's not how they evolved. Being dark triad is inherent to being a woman, men are just oblivious
