Basically our ability to save people with shitty genes is horrible for the human race as a whole. Though tragic for family members, a loss of a loved one due to genetic abnormalities saves the chance of those genes being passed on. With today’s medicine, we are keeping those people alive longer, and it is weakening the human race. Look at the rate of increase in allergies, diabetes, reproductive diseases, cancer etc.
If we want the human race to thrive, we need to work towards stronger genetics, not go backwards.
Inb4 I have a peanut allergy, you want me to die?. Yes. If you are allergic and aren’t smart enough to stay away from peanuts, please don’t pass your genes on.
