everybody knows internet was incredible before social media
max interaction you could have with people was forums and imageboards, which would be mostly made of men

Social Media wasnt even bad in the early stages with things like Myspace and Facebook its when fckn
Instagram took of that everything began sinking.

Someone said that the Mayans were actually accurate in their prediction about the World ending in 2012
especially considering this is when things like Dating Apps,Instagram and the Smart Phone all became mainstream
along with Hookup Culture and the use of Contraceptives etc all contributed in the ultimate decline of Birthrates in
the West.

Social media is only one part of it. The genuinely disturbing part is realising humans aren't just using machines anymore, but that we're gradually merging with them.

We're being colonised by the machines, assembled into something whose final form hasn't arrived yet.

This video is really good


It gets into Nick Land (major figure in all of this) and basically the exact idea I was hinting at about us being colonised by the machine.
It's a very deep rabbit hole though lol, bit of an infohazard too.

I'll probably make a thread at some point expanding on it from my own angle, also how it pertains to dating and other stuff.
