bro, 1% means that 99% of others couldn't do it. And you can't just become top 1% by your willpower. There are different factors that decide how much money will you have and most of the time you can't influence them
1) Initially available resources
Yeah most rich niggas who talk about "success and muh keep trying" weren't born in poor families. They had money and connections to begin with. People who already have money have psychological comfort. Having at least a small amount of money at the start gives you a sense of control and progress. This helps you not to give up on your idea to become rich because of the fear of failure.
Good start-up capital also means more scale options. With a small amount of money, it is difficult to immediately build a diversified portfolio (that is, to distribute money among different assets, such as stocks, bonds, and funds). A large starting capital allows you to buy multiple assets at once and reduce risks.

If you were born in a country with higher salaries, currency value, purchasing power, and standard of living, you're in luck. And don't say "just migrate"
You will need to:
- integrate into a new society
- cope employers who may be biased against you due to your lack of language and ethnic origin as well as your lack of education in their country.
-Spend money in a more expensive country, as higher salaries mean higher prices
-obtain a visa

So your ethnicity can be a barrier to social mobility. You will have a higher chance to become rich in countries of your own ethnicity. Most rich people in japan are japanese, most rich people in germany are german etc.
But the country of your ethnicity can possibly be poor which again creates difficulties.
