Why my fold had a dark shadow before?

In the first pic I was 17 and my nasolabial fold looked normal with a normal shadow from the sunlight.
now (21) there‘s no shadow and the fold looks different.
Any suggestions??

Its just different lightening and positioning. Light is softer on the second one you can tell by your skin colour and you’re not squeezing your eyes on the second one to get more creases
