Why my voice sounds different

Why when I sing,my voices sound fucking perfect
but when recorded it sounds so shit,makes me delete after 1second,while my friends' recorded voices sound the same as I hear irl
too brutal can't imagine my voice sounding like that
-Why does this happen tho?

It's probably very similar to how you sound in real life.

The way you sound to your own ears and the way you sound to other people are pretty different.

And if you're only used to hearing how you sound to yourself your entire life, hearing how you sound to others is pretty fucking jarring.

Voices sound different from devices because they transmit through air conduction in which sound waves are traveling to your ears. But when you talk to yourself you feel both the air and bone transmitting through this makes your bone enhance lower frequencies, making the voice seem more deep and full
