On the one hand they create a contrast towards the eye Serena making them seem more white and also stop you from becoming a mouthbreather
However what I have personally noticed: on users with crucked or sideshifted they will make them seem more symmetrical and straight
Similarly on other ugly noses they improve the look by hiding the problem
Am I the only one who has noticed this or am I tripping
They make you look very nd tho when wearing regularly
