firstly, if you are deciding to take clomid, please take enclomaphine instead, the side effects of clomid are worse especially after long term use (mainly eyesight problems), secondly regarding your question, enclo will only raise testosterone to a natural amount for your balls to produce, whereas testosterone injections will raise your testosterone levels to several times the natural amount, giving significant benefits over just enclo, but with downsides, the main unpreventable thing being shutdown of your HPAG axis, as in your lh fsh to testosterone to lh fsh feedback loop, which will need time to recover after you stop the cycle, any other downside can be prevented (gyno, blood pressure, lipid profile, high estrogen, balding)
