Firstly many cultures world wide is incompatible would lead to a segregated world under one government likely leading to a civil war. If this society becomes extremely corrupt a corrupt government controls the whole world. We lose culture if everyone becomes the same. We lose unique beauty in people as well as you seem to promote race mixing which in no way is a positive concept. Lastly this would never even work if we were to theoretically try there are so many variables that would hinder this.

a: corruption, in one wold government if there is corruption there is no way to stop it, it is the world, there is nothing left

b: a lack of independence, while good on a societal level, it is bad for the individuals, some people do not want to be forced to interact and give out to the world more good then they receive

c: i already mentioned this but the world government can do anything they want, there is no chance of any global rebellion due to land seperation, any attempt at coordination while instant messaging makes it easier, there are less concentrations of people

there are other problems but i listed the 3 most important imo

the main problem just has to do with control though

as you can see in a,b,c, in a world government there is too much control to have a happy population, even if they feel pleasure

they cannot feel content or have great contributions to society over another, as all attempts to contribute (scientific, political, economic, etc) are institutional and not linked to one name

all contributions are uniform and treated equally even if different people contribute better to society, disincentivizing any hard work and making people work at a baseline

once a measure of hard work becomes a target, it will wane and people will do less work

it may seem like the world becomes more diverse, but in reality the world becomes more uniform and adverse

increased biodiversity isn't the main thing aswell, since all races become uniform, there is less ability to quickly change (lets say after the entire world mixes, old diseases may become weaker (there isn't really any strong selection though so this is a weak point too, as the only limit to people having sex isn't death, since most death is by luck and not due to genetics, but by womens choosing), but now there is no more further mixing and increase in biodiversity, it is less shock resistant to new diseases since there are no extra reserves to mix, no biodiversity, so the diversity argument for mixing isn't really a benefit or detriment even under the assumption mixing does increase resistance to diseases, which it won't because we are sexually selected for physical traits, not sicknesses which can be cured)

this isn't even considering any impact on intelligence effects
