Our political system, our architecture and in general cultural influence is by the Germanics. Of course there is Slavic ones too but it was more minor in the culture and is balkan in nature.
We are not Slavic and have nothing to do with the Slavics. At least the German did not want us to be Germanic which is much better than what the Slavics wanted and most likely want. Finland is a good example of what the USSR wanted with them. The Slavics will never unite, they are too vast and different. You think the Serbian will get along with the Polish? No they will not.

Germanic Slavic, I never cared too much as the cultural spirit was more superior to me than whatever genetics held me back in that thought. Germany, Austria, Flanders (Northern Belgium), Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Tirol (small piece of Northern Italy), (a thin slice of former Prussia) Western Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland and Sudetenland (Czech Republic) all belong together under the common denominator that they're Germanic people.
