I come from Latin America, and I can say that self-hating ethnics are what I've seen most throughout my life, seriously. I was talking to a Black guy at the barber shop, and he said: "You're going to get a normal haircut, right?"

I replied: "Yes, a standard low fade."

He said: "I'm going to shave this shit off, because you know? A comb won't fit in it, and I don't like wearing dreadlocks because they look like fire caterpillars on my head."

This is far too common in everyday life.
