Think about it.

When someone points a gun at you, you ACTUALLY believe that you can die here. You will follow ALL of his directions and do everything in order to not make him kill you. You actually believe you are in danger and those do everything he wants.

With god however, you don't TRULY believe you will end up in hell, and those you will still sin. If you actually believed something would happen, like in the gun example, you woulnd't sin. But since deep down your human counciousness can't grasp the idea of "God" and "Hell" you don't. You will still sin, you religious believes are just a cope made up by your mind. (It most likely got brainwashed)
