It usually is the opposite as it stretches the area.

The strong stretch could make the skin thinner in the area which would reduce fat volume, therefore contributing to a faster aging process

A deep fossa is the opposite of an overprojected maxilla so idk what you meant by the hollow effect in the area

no it's not this is wrong
people with horizontally projected cheekbones tend to have that midface shadowing
i don't know if you see what i mean, there's better photos to demonstrate this but anyway
