Holy fuck, I have actually never seen someone so utterly braindead. YOU JUST PROVED MY POINT. A 17-year-old is a teenager, a 3-year-old is a child. The distinction exists. I'm genuinely baffled that you just stated the correct definitions and thought you did anything different.rooming is a verb pedophillia is a concept
grooming = getting close to a minor in a manipulative manner to potentially molest them/use them for sexual gratification
pedophillia = attraction to children
broadly pedophillia is used wrt all minors but one could separate it into ephebophillia (attraction to underage teenagers) vs pedophillia (attraction to children). Regardless its obviously worse the younger they are.
A 17 year old is NOT prepubescent. They are NOT "generally age 13 or younger." This definition alone disqualifies your argument.
broadly pedophillia is used wrt all minors
No, the fuck it's not. There is literally NO clinical or diagnostic framework that agrees with this statement. You even contradicted yourself within the same message by bringing up ephebophilia. You do realize how incoherent you sound by acknowledging that a sub-distinction of a word exists, but then proceed to claim that the umbrella term covers everyone equally, right?
grooming = getting close to a minor in a manipulative manner to potentially molest them/use them for sexual gratification
It being a process does not mean it's not mutually exclusive from the other terms I used. In your retarded mind, you interpreted my original comment as me saying that grooming and pedophilia are opposites, when I actually wasn't even saying that at all.
I was making a descriptive point about what the correct clinical framing is for each scenario. You just decided to argue against a position I didn't hold.
