One of the biggest mistakes we see in the looksmaxxing com is placing too much value on potential and letting that halo our rate.
Well potential IS useful, but it just isn't reality.
Many users rate themselves based on what they could look like after losing fat, getting a better frame, improving skin and etc
The problem is that these improvements are hypothetical until they actually happen.
A guy today who is a 4.5 but has a 6.5 potential is still just a 4.5
Another common mistake is confusing your peak with your base. Most people at home will judge themselves from their best pics. (perfect lighting, perfect angle, perfect expression.)
But IRL won't work like that.
Potential can be motivating, but it should never be confused with achievement
Your best photo isn't your rating.
