Think about what it means for something supernatural to exist. It ultimately means or refers to something mental without any physical components. In the ancient traditions of god, he was proposed as an all powerful, all knowing entity who is made of no parts. But that's a contradiction. It's essentially proposing complexity without components. But the very notion of having a lot of components is what complexity is.
There is a reason why the only thing that seems "non physical" is our mind, and lo and behold, it's undoubtedly connected to the most complex thing (with tons of components) to exist in the entire universe: our brain. Thus, the very idea of a ghost, spirit, or god, that has no physical components is a contradiction and cannot exist.
Now, is it possible for some super advanced alien to exist? Well, it at least doesn't seem impossible. It's at least not as contradictory as the former type of being I talked about. But is there any reason whatsoever to believe that they not only exist but have visited earth or can somehow control where we're going to end up in the afterlife? Absolutely not. This is because there are no traces of their existence anywhere. For these kinds of aliens to have existed but also have visited earth, they would have to be undetectable, basically invisible, and have equipment sophisticated enough for no humans to have ever found clear evidence of. Given everything else we know about the universe, this is extremely extremely unlikely. It just wouldn't fit with our knowledge, hence there's no reason to believe they exist, much less have impacted any of this world in the past, much less impact any of our "lives" after death.
When we die, this is it. There is no such thing as a soul or spirit. We are just the physical, which is why we can manipulate our consciousness easily through our brain. There is only one life so stop fearing things. There's nothing to worry about.
