Stop looking at height as just a metric and look at it as a distribution of energy.
Tall people have ambient energy. They occupy space by default they don't need to do anything to assert their value. It's equitably distributed across their frame.
Short people are the opposite. They are highdensity. They have to create their own energy and when you pack that much power into a small frame it becomes volatile. It's like an atom the smaller the space, the more pressure builds up. That's why history is driven by these bombs. They're either creating stars or they're exploding in everyone's faces.
Tall people are the landscape, short people are the explosion. The world needs both, but you can't blame the atom for acting like a bomb when it's under that much pressure.
