Over the summer I’ve had a lot of time to myself (as usual), but I’ve also had time to think about my life and the people in it. I’ve realised that all the people who know me, whether that is in school or out, are wrong. They do not understand me nor do they know me as a person. Sure, I have friends but I think only one or two truly know how I am as a person. I believe myself to be the blueprint for the nice guy archetype. Most would disagree but again they do not know me. I am a man who gives all the cash in his pocket to a homeless man; I am a man who finds charities and donates to them; I am a man who, whenever a friend is feeling blue, is there for comfort; I am a good man. I used to be so caught up in social status and how these people perceive me but as soon as I noticed how feeble-minded they are with how they treat people I understood that I could do whatever I wanted because at the end of the day, I am not the me that is in their minds. They are stuck pandering to a self-centred group of hive-minded idiots while I have finally reached peace with myself. If I am asked a question I reply with honesty and even if they don’t believe me I am content with their stance because I know that they are wrong and I am right.
