I identity as German.

Our neighbor country Poland is more hostile to us than most nations outside Europe.

So, why should I view them more favorably than South Korea, a pro German nation?

Depends. I like the Polish due to Hungary's long historical friendship with them but I cannot ignore the reality that the majority of slavic people are genuinely stupid. They can be nice but once they get hostile, they are like blacks with white skin. Case and point Yugoslavia's collapse, Romania, Russia vs Ukraine and how Poland behaves against Russia; constantly threatening anything for an articale 5.
